107.3 Invades Wapato Middle School

The kids at Wapato Middle School were surprised at lunch to see Nahum Ray, Reesha on the Radio and myself (John Riggs) sitting in with him. Although the lunch, which was mac & cheese with smokies, was delicious, we had a proposition for them.

You see, we weren't the only ones in attendance. We also had reps from the University of Washington as well as Washington State University so students could apply for the College Bound Scholarship. Our agreement is that if Wapato Middle School gets 100% participation in applications, we'll throw a party for them.

We had a blast! The kids were awesome, the staff was happy to have us and we're hoping we can visit again soon.
