According to a recent study of human resource professionals, getting carried away on social media really can damage your career prospects.

Here are six things on Facebook alone than can hurt your chance of getting hired:

1)  Risque photos.

2)  Negative comments about work in GENERAL.

3)  Negative comments about your current job or a former job.

4)  Cursing.

5)  Photos of you partying and drinking.

6)  Controversial political or social opinions.
