Receiving a cancer diagnosis is a VERY scary experience and that is exactly what is happening to Mayra. This is what I just received from her:

My name is Mayra A Cortes-Mojarro and I’m 22 years old. I'm a student at Central Washington University majoring in biology. A couple of months ago I was diagnosed with periampullary cancer. It’s a very rare type of cancer even more for someone my age due to that it’s categorized under pancreatic cancer. I’m hoping to raise funds for my medical expenses and travel expenses. I have to travel every two weeks to Seattle to receive my chemo treatments so it gets kind of pricey. We will be having the car wash this Friday starting at 9 a.m. We will be there for as late as we can. It’ll be donations so anything and everything helps. Thank you so much for your help and support and helping me in my fight with cancer. Much love. Mayra.

This Friday (July 20), she will be having a car wash 🚗💦 at the AutoZone, 1522 S. First St., starting at 9 a.m. and continuing as long as there are cars to wash! If you have the time, please come out and support.
