I ran across an item at Seattle PI.com titled "37 Signs You're not from Seattle". I wonder what things you could apply to not being from Yakima?

Some of the 37 signs about Seattle included things about Seafair, Dick's Drive-In, J.P. Patches, the Famous Seattle Freeze and so on.

What would be signs you're not from Yakima?

You know a lot more about wine than anyone that lives here, even though world class wines are produced in our valley.

You think a Big Miner is just another hamburger.

You know all about J.P. Patches, but have no idea who Uncle Jimmy was.
