The final hours of former NFL star and convicted/acquitted murderer Aaron Hernandez have now been revealed through three suicide notes the ex-New England Patriots player left. Aside from discussing his love for his fiancée Shayanna Jenkins and daughter Avielle Jenkins-Hernandez, Hernadez also asked his lawyer for a favor that involved a few of hip-hop's biggest names including Meek Mill and Jay-Z.

In a letter to his lawyer Jose Baez, which was published in the attorney's new book, Unnecessary Roughness: Inside the Trial and Final Days of Aaron Hernandez, the former NFL star asked Baez if he could get in touch with rappers such as Kevin Gates, Meek Mill, Rick Ross, Jay-Z and The Game, so he could thank them, CNN reports.

"I need a favor -- If you have any contacts for any artists like Gates, Meek Mill, Ross, Jay, Game ... etc. I would like to send you letters so you can send to their information or whichever way you think best," the letter reads.

Hernandez said he was looking to avoid any media attention but really wanted to send his love to the rappers who got him through tough times. "I don't want any media really getting into me, trying to just send my love to all the artists who got me through my tough times and sending my respect to a few of the real ones out there. So I think that's the best idea through you," he continued. "It's something I have to do and I'd appreciate if you could do that for me, if possible! If not, I'll figure something out. Well, get at me, love ya brother!"

The former New England Patriots tight end, who was serving a life sentence for the murder of Odin Lloyd, was found hanging in his prison cell in 2017, just days after being acquitted of two murder charges related to a 2012 drive-by shooting. Hernandez was only 27 years old when he died but was found to have Stage 3 CTE with brain damage that is usually seen in someone 20 years older.
