With less than two weeks to go until the 2016 United States Presidential Election, Adele — who can't vote — nevertheless threw her support behind Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton last night (October 25) at her Miami concert. And while the endorsement probably came as no surprise after Adele banned Clinton's opponent, Donald Trump, from using her music across his campaign, Adele still made an impassioned plea, and urged fans: "Don't vote for him."

"I am English, but what happens in America affects me too,” Adele said, according to Entertainment Weekly. “I am 100 percent for Hillary Clinton. I love her, she’s amazing."

ABC News originally reported that it didn't seem as if Adele knew at the time of her stumping that Clinton was in the audience. Eventually, though, the cat was let out of the bag.

And the Adele-Clinton admiration has proven to be mutual. In a March interview with Sirius XM, Clinton said Adele is among her favorite artists, and that her talent had helped Clinton power through the campaign trail.

"I'm currently into Adele. That is my go-to voice," Clinton said. "I have such a huge admiration for her skills, her abilities and her personality."
