Ariana Grande kicked off 'Saturday Night Live''s 40th season with energetic performances of two songs from her latest album, 'My Everything.'

For her first musical set, the pop songstress donned cat ears and sat atop a piano for her verse of 'Break Free.' She then changed the tempo and broke out into a faster-paced version of the track. Flanked by a team of dancers, Grande showed off some dance moves in her glittering daisy dukes and high-heeled stilettos. You go girl!

For her second number, Grande performed the fan-favorite track from her album, the power ballad 'Love Me Harder.' The 21-year-old singer also brought out the Weeknd as her surprise guest on the lively duet.

But that's not all. The 'Bang Bang' collaborator also showed off her comedic skills early in the show by playing 80's cartoon superhero She-Ra in a nerd sketch featuring host Chris Pratt, who played He-Man.

Overall, Ariana Grande proved that she's a formidable pop star with vocal and acting chops to boot.
