After her star pup Pudsey passed away last Friday, July 21, Ashleigh Butler broke out in tears during an interview on This Morning. The pair, which had won Britain's Got Talent back in 2012 for their unmatchable dance routines, rapidly became globally famous. Pudsey would go on to star in several films, including his own feature full-length in 2014.

While discussing Pudsey's tragic passing — he died of leukemia which had gone undiagnosed until days before his death — Butler could not stop herself from tearing up. The two had been together for 11 years, ever since Butler got Pudsey as a gift on her 11th birthday. Show hosts Ruth and Eamonn comforted her, and Butler quickly brought out her other dog, Sullivan. Sullivan is four years old, and had perfomed with Pudsey.

"Sully knows something's not right now that Pudsey's not here," Bulter said. "He's feeling a bit lonely at the moment but we have each other."

While of course no dog or human could ever replace Pudsey, Butler remained optimistic. "I think carrying on what Pudsey started will help me. He gave me opportunities that I never thought I would ever have."
