Lady Gaga has run afoul of animal rights organization PETA, since she would not rather go naked than wear fur. PETA is claiming that Mama Monster is a hypocrite since she has recently been seen sporting what looks like pink mink fur, despite telling her friend and animal lover Ellen DeGeneres on her namesake show a bit ago that she “hates” fur. PETA brass sent her a nasty letter, but she fired back.
Adam Lambert is all about modifying his look as of late. After bleaching his hair platinum last week, the singer has inked a thick, black script tattoo on his forearm. He tweeted an image of the tat, which reads “Musica Delenit Bestiam Feram.” So what’s that mean? Something about music and beasts, given our minimal knowledge of Latin?
Too cute! We can’t even stand it. Beyonce updated her Tumblr, which is like a digital photo album for her scores of fans, and in it, she included the most adorbs pic of Blue Ivy ever. We can’t even see Blue’s face (you can do that here) as she is nestled in Mama’s safe and secure arms, but she is showing props to her dad Jay-Z by wearing a Watch the Throne t-shirt or onesie.
It’s never too early to get your famous offspring cloaked in musical gear while showing support for the family business.
Miley Cyrus had an eventful Sunday (Aug. 12.) She chopped off her hair. A week after debuting lighter, shorter locks, which framed her face and were still long enough to pile into a bun atop her head, the singer/actress has gone drastically and dramatically shorter. She’s sporting a punk rock pixie cut that’s heavy on the bangs and shaved underneath (aka Skrillex hair).
Britney Spears shared another photo from her Fantasy Twist fragrance photo shoot. While the first image Brit posted was Egyptian and Cleopatra-like in nature, the latest images depict Brit Brit as a ’20s-era flapper, complete with swingy dress, bobbed hair and deeply pigmented lips.
One Direction cutie Liam Payne has dealt with a pretty significant health problem for most of his life. Payne, who turns 19 at the end of this month, had a sole working kidney, which was likely due to being born prematurely. However, he got some good news regarding his organs and found out both are working now.
On tonight’s (Aug. 7) penultimate episode of ‘The Glee Project,’ the final five were asked to show their “actability.” Since ‘Glee‘ is not just about singing and dancing, but about acting, this episode was a challenge. Sadly, with the finale slated for next week, both Michael and Lily were sent home, leaving Blake, Ali and Aylin to compete in the finals. They are the strongest contenders, so it makes sense.
Adam Lambert is known for his spiky, inky black locks. They are his signature, along with his thick eyeliner. The glammy and infinitely stylish ‘Better Than I Know Myself’ singer has gone rogue and to the complete opposite end of the style spectrum, bleaching his hair platinum blond.
Cher issued a few more informative yet poorly worded tweets about her upcoming album. The other day, the diva of all divas hinted that her duet with Lady Gaga, dubbed ‘The Greatest Thing,’ would drop in October, with the album landing at retail around the holidays. Now she has revealed that she is working with Pink and Timbaland on the album.
‘Glee‘ is planning a second Britney Spears tribute episode, but it’s not likely that Brit Brit will appear this time out. Another difference? The singer’s most recent material will likely be the focus of the tribute. Brit’s catalog is deep, so there is a wealth of songs for producers to choose from. That’s called a good problem to have.
