If you assumed that motherhood was going to keep Beyonce from releasing new music in 2012… Well, you were right. But according to in-demand producer/OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder, she’ll make up for lost time next year — by releasing not one, but two albums.

Tedder spilled the beans in an interview with The Boombox, saying, “The conversations about her next album literally just started and there [are] two projects happening.” He continued, “All I can say is you kind of feed her the best that you have and she’s this phenomenal filter and she takes it all in.”

Of course, given Beyonce’s recent life change, Tedder is working up material with a suitable lyrical focus. When asked if he’d be pitching her any songs about motherhood, he responded, “I would say that that goes without saying.”

So what can we expect to hear from these new albums? It’s too soon to really know much, but Tedder promises that Beyonce will remain at the vanguard of modern R&B. “She’s not interested in 2012, [she's interested in] what’s [going to sound good for] 2013,” he insisted. “Without question she steers the ship. [With] Beyonce, you just let her go, she’s ridiculous, she’s the best.”
