Blockbuster Video On 56th and Summitview Is Closing

Yet, another font part of my childhood is closing it's doors in the near future. The good news is that means everything's on clearance!

I asked one of the employees how long this has been going on for. She said they started to put clearance prizes on items last week, but today is their official 'Store Closing' clearance sale. Most items are around 20% off. They even had those mail-in dvds for $2.99, or 5 for $7.50 unless my eyes were playing tricks on me.

It's too bad this one is closing as I used to rent videos and games from time to time at this specific location. The good news is that this store on 56th and Summitview is the only one that's closing in Yakima, the other Blockbusters in Yakima are safe... for now.
