A new bottled water sales tax take effect today (Aug. 1) in the state of Washington, and a few folks aren't happy about the next tax.

Bottled water is now being classified as a non-food -- hence the new sales tax. The state expects to get an additional $24 million for the general fund, but a ton of folks aren't happy about it.

The only winners in the situation is the SNAP (formerly food stamps) program participants because they won't be taxed.

Do you agree that there should be a tax on bottled water? Should it be considered food and exempt?
