Breakthrough Feed the Need Outreach to Distribute Free Food Boxes

Praise the Lord and all the people who are willing to give back to the community. Now more than ever people are in need of assistance and Breakthrough Church in Union Gap has really gone above and beyond.

It's called Breakthrough Feed the Need Outreach Program and currently, they are set-up to hand out free Farmer to Family Food Boxes every Saturday beginning at 10 am. Here's what each box will include

Boxes are 30lbs of produce (potatoes, onions, apples, rotating seasonal) dairy (milk, cheese, yogurt, etc) and meat (pre-cooked, at least two kinds). and free to recipients

Sounds pretty awesome and what's even more perfect is this is going to be taking place this Saturday, February, 27th and every Saturday through March starting at 10 am. You don't need to pre-register or sign-up. If you can't go and need to have someone grab it for you, it's cool. Just please make sure that your trunk is cleared so they can abide by Covid-19 protocol and keep it contactless.

They also are working to help out Veterans by donating and recommend Freedom Pantry for Veterans as a wonderful place to give back to those who are in need. The below video is from a past donation but it gives you an idea of what's included in one of the 30-pound boxes. The challenge is figuring out what to cook and make the most of your meals so if you have ideas, I would LOVE to hear them!
