Bryan Adams called for a Japan charity benefit in an interview today. The Canadian rock star has participated in a number of benefit concerts, including Live Aid show in 1985.

“I’m wondering when someone is going to put something together for Japan,” Adams told Showbiz Spy. “It would be great of the rock community got together for Japan because Japan has given so much to all the rockers over the years. Everybody has spent some time there.”

Adams will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame later today.
