A Case of the Blues and All That Jazz is a blues and jazz festival benefiting the community through the Yakima Greenway Foundation and Junior League of Yakima is back in the valley again this year.

The annual event has been held each August since 1993 in Sarg Hubbard Park in Terrace Heights

The festival features blues and jazz music, award-winning local wines and microbrews, delicious food from local establishments, and a silent auction.

Tickets are now on sale for $40 or can be purchased the day of the event for $45 (if there are tickets still available).  Tickets can be purchased online via PayPal, at the Greenway office in Sarg Hubbard Park or by calling 509-453-8280.  Call or fax the Greenway office with your credit card and reservation information to avoid paying handling fees.

The event is reserved for those 21 and over.

This year’s theme is “Fresh from the Valley”, featuring local restaurants, wineries and breweries. I'll be the MC for the ceremonies and the 2011 music line-up looks great!

Opening up the show is Shoot Jake, followed by Cody Beebe and the Crooks. Billy D and the Hoodoos are up next with Ellen Whyte headlining and closing out the show.

You don’t want to miss these amazing musical talents!

You can also pick up your souvenir wine or beer glass as you enter the event and don’t forget to capture the memory of the evening at our Photo Booth.

Pay a visit to the silent auction tent during the course of the evening. Many fine items will be on display for bid.

Auction hours are 4:00 – 9:00pm.

We look forward to seeing you at the park on August 20th!
