From the words of a second-grade teacher at my elementary school when I was growing up, "It's not about how you spell a word, it's about knowing what that word means." We use words every day. Often times a word is something you already know but hard to explain. Someone on the popular website Reddit shared what his 6-year-old used the word sexy in a sentence. He and his wife asked if she even knew what the word meant. Here was her definition. What do you think?

At supper the other night my daughter asked my wife if "she looked at sexy men". My wife's answer was irrelevant. This was the first time we heard my daughter (6) use that word. We asked where she learned it (from a kid a school) and if she knew what it meant. She said:

"Sexy is like being naked but with your clothes on"

Still shocked but we had to admit that is a better definition than I could have ever come up with.

I couldn't agree more. Not only do I like that definition, it's also better than anything I could come up with.
