While Ciara is working hard on her forthcoming album Jackie, the "I Bet" creator is stretching her creative legs into other fields of entertainment. The R&B singer is trying her hand at acting on the small screen with a new television project.

The 29-year-old songbird will be showcasing her humorous side, starring in a new NBC comedy variety series this summer. The weekly competition style show I Can Do That! is slated to be hosted by funnyman Marlon Wayans.

"We're excited to watch our all-star cast rise to the challenges ahead in such a fresh, new way," said Paul Telegdy, NBC's president of alternative programming (quotes courtesy of IndieWire). "Our viewers are going to fall in love with how these natural born entertainers push themselves outside of their comfort zones to put on a spectacular show every week."

CiCi along with Cheryl Burke, Joe Jonas, who is currently on tour with Iggy Azalea and Tinashe, Nicole Scherzinger, stand-up comedian Jeff Dye and actor Alan Ritchson (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire) are locked in for the first five episodes. I Can Do That! will air in more than 15-countries across the globe including, Brazil, Span and the U.S. of course.

Meanwhile, Ciara has announced that she will premiere her new video for "I Bet" on Extra this Monday (March 9) at 7PM ET. The R&B singer posted a photo on Instagram of her dressed in an all-white leotard with matching ankle socks. Check out the photo below.
