Cookie Dough on the Go is Something People Actually Eat?

I'm probably the only person who has never liked raw cookie dough, but now people are selling it for the purpose of not making cookies with it but eating it straight from the container.

Have you tried this? Is it the same as just making or buying pre-made cookie dough?

My other question is can I use this to bake cookies?

My wife found this at a gas station in Ellensburg and thought she'd share a photo with me as I'm always on the lookout for new products to try, but I'm not into cookies dough. If you've tried it, let me know how it is.
