Deep Fried Cereal Is A Real Thing At The San Diego Fair

I love deep frying things, I love breakfast cereal - why did I never think to put the two together?! Fortunately, Charlie Boghosian beat me to it for this year's San Diego Fair. He introduced deep fried Kool Aid last year, this year, deep fried breakfast cereal.

He only had two flavors available, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Twix. Looks like he has them in a batter, deep fried them and tops them off with syrup. I hope we'll see something like this at our fair one of these years. Any takers? I'll be first in line!

What else can do you deep fry? Maybe I should submit something for this year's Central Washington State Fair.
