Disney Making ‘Wizard of Oz’ prequel

It seems Disney has the habit of pretty much doing what ever they want, but for some reason it always works. I heard that they're planning on making a prequel to The Wizard of Oz called "Oz: The Great and Powerful" and thought to myself "it'll never work." Then I heard it was going to star James Franco (Spider-Man, 127 Hours) and thought "Well, maybe it won't be so bad."

From what I've heard so far, it's basically about Oz getting whisked away by a tornado to the land of Oz, falling in love with Glinda, The Good Witch, and both get revenge on her sisters. Yeah, I know, I'd rather just have a movie version of the musical "Wicked", too, but this'll work for now.
