It's the annual "Walk In Her Shoes event at Millennium Plaza at Noon and Dough Boy from the Morning Maddhouse is doing his part for the causeThere is an old saying: "You can't really understand another person's experience until you've walked a mile in their shoes."

Comprehensive Mental Health hosted their 7th annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes®: The Men's March to Stop Rape, Sexual Assault & Gender Violence today. The march asks men to literally walk one mile in women's high-heeled shoes.

It's not easy walking in these shoes, but it is fun and it gets the community to talk about something that's really difficult: gender relations and sexual violence. KFFM's Dough Boy jumped at the chance to be involved.

The Yakima Sexual Assault Victim Advocacy Program provides 24 hour crisis intervention, an advocate during medical and legal procedures, support groups and therapy as well as prevention education.
