Drake nabbed a record 13 trophies at the Billboard Music Awards Sunday (May 21) night. Toronto's favorite son was nominated for a whopping 22 BBMAs at the awards show.

Before the ceremony, Drizzy was already landing trophies; during the broadcast, he won for Top Male Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album and Top Artist, among other major awards. In his acceptance speech, he thanked Ludacris and put to bed any notion of lingering bad blood between himself and the Atlanta rap vet.

“I wanna say Ludacris, I know we haven’t always seen eye to eye, but I’ve always been a big fan of yours, man,” he said. “I’ve got a love for you. I want to let you know that face to face while we’re still here.”

In 2011, Luda claimed Drake and Big Sean were biting his style. But with Luda serving as co-host of last night's show, it was the perfect opportunity for Drake to smooth things over. And Drizzy also professed his ongoing love for Nicki Minaj and got flirty with Ludacris' co-host, Vanessa Hudgens.

“Vanessa Hudgens, you look incredible tonight,” he declared.

Drake also performed “Gyalchester” in the Fountains of Bellagio. His big night broke Adele’s previous record set in 2012, when the superstar singer took home 12 trophies.
