It might be May, but everything's coming up OVO. Drake just hosted Saturday Night Live this past weekend, his beloved Toronto Raptors are moving on to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time in franchise history, and Views continues to dominate the Billboard charts. While a staggered release throughout the many music streaming and purchasing platforms can make timing a little tricky, Billboard is reporting that Views has maintained its top spot on the album charts for the second consecutive week.

While the conversation about the hype, expectations and subsequent results of Views continues to wage on, there is no debating the fact that, commercially, it is one Drake's most successful releases. Last week, it was reported that Views moved 832,000 physical copies in its first week of release, and the songs on it were streamed a record 245.1 million times in the U.S., bringing its total equivalent sales to around 1.04 million.

With Views expanding its online reach, appearing on Spotify and Tidal just this past Friday (May 13), it is perhaps no surprise that it continues its chart dominating ways, selling another 175,000 physical copies and adding 219,000 equivalent album plays in its second official week. Those figures represent a 79 percent decline from its debut week, but nonetheless add to what has been a huge release for Drake. Views has already become the first album of 2016 to sell more than 1 million copies. Give it up for Drizzy.
