Yakama Nation Behavioral Health Services presents:
Third Annual Suicide Prevention Presentation And Walk For Life

    Thursday and Friday, Sept. 8-9

The annual suicide prevention two-day event began Thursday with a presentation from guest speaker, model/actor/philanthropist, Dyami Thomas. On Friday morning, the annual walk begins at 8:15 with an Invocation. Thomas is set to deliver another stirring speech at 8:30 for about one hour and then attendees will prepare for the walk (slated to begin at Yakama Nation Tribal School* and ending at Yakama Nation Cultural Center's Winterlodge Courtyard), followed by a balloon release at 10:45 am. Lunch will be served shortly thereafter at 11 a.m., along with some closing remarks.
