Eastern Washington Brewfest on Tap May 16 in Ellensburg

The Yakima Valley is home to 75 percent of the United States' hops, so it's only fitting that we have the very best beer festivals in the world. Iron Horse Brewery in Ellensburg is set to host the Eastern Washington Brewfest on May 16.

Iron Horse is giving a high-five to other area craft brewers as nine other breweries from the area will be there as well.

It starts at 5 p.m. with tickets for $20, which includes your tasting glass -- which you get to keep -- and six tasting scrip.

Along with the beer there'll be live music and great food options from Brisket Barbecue, too.
