Facebook Hoax: ‘Facebook Security’ Isn’t Looking at Your Profile

I'm sorry, but you're not that interesting. None of us are.

There has been a lot of talk and shares on Facebook stating that there are 'Facebook Security' that are looking at your profile and, on top of that, you can't block many of them. As you would have suspected, it's not true.

Snopes has disproved this.

Basically, anyone who puts Facebook Security in their profile somewhere can pop up on this list and, if someone has been blocked too many times, a Facebook precautionary measure prevents them from being blocked for a period of time as it may be a bug in the system.

But it's another reminder that when you sign up for a social media network, whether it's Facebook or Twitter or Instagram or Pintrest or anything, you are giving up the information they receive so keep all aspects in mind when you're spending time online.
