Facebook Messenger App Allows Facebook to Record Audio, Take Pictures for You and More

As of this morning, I was forced to download a second app for just the messages from Facebook friends. I was putting it off the whole time and now, that I don't have a choice, I'm looking for another option. Accepting the conditions to Facebook Messenger is also saying it's okay for Facebook to take pictures, record audio and even send texts without your approval because, by downloading it, you have approved it. What?!

And, by downloading and accepting the terms and service, you're allowing it to do so much more including calling and sending SMS without you knowing about it and YOU are responsible for any charges, access your contact list and take pictures and video.

My way around it, for now, is I'll be accessing Facebook via web browser on my phone without the app, but who knows how long that will late.
