Fair Highlights: Friday, Sept. 26

Whee! TGIF! (Thank God it's fair time.)

And Friday.

It's our day to play, eat stuff we might regret later and go watch Monster Trucks! Not to mention seeing Joan Jett tonight!

Now, with the weather feeling more like a regular September in Yakima, here's our agenda:

• Big, fun rides -- we gotta hit the bungee-trampoline jump over by that little tiny horse thing. We aren't apt to do any mid-air backflips or anything, but the idea of springing 10 feet high sounds like a blast. After that, sign us up for the zip lines! (Like we said -- it's Friday. We're pulling all the stops!)
• Hells Belles, hypnotist Mark Yuzuik, horsemanship expert Dan James are part of today's entertainment. Sign us up for one of each of those, too!
• If you're still looking for extremes after all, hit the livestock areas -- after the goats and cattle, hit the draft horse/mini-mule exhibition in the Durand Arena at 4:30. And at 5:30, it's the High Hope Vaulters. They're doing stuff the rest of us just can't, so we guess that's where we hit our limit.
