We're a day late for Hump Day, but we figured there'd be way too much of a line at the camel rides if we went Wednesday anyway. So that's at the top of our list today.

These animals are based in Yoncalla, Ore., (we don't think they're native to the area, but then again, Oregon's a mysterious place ... ) and they look as docile and comfortable as Buicks.

After that, what? Well, here's what's on today's to-do list for us:

  • Big-time day for another breed of animals, too --- rockers. Hell's Belles, the all-female AC/DC tribute band, plays the Pacific Power Community Stage at 2 p.m., and again at 5:30 and 8:30. And tonight at 7, it's the headliners, Trapt, on the Budweiser Stage. Two must-see bands, trust us!
  • At 11:30 a.m., we can learn how to clean up with Cher'ie and Harry Marsh's soap making demonstration. Then we're heading for Cathy Stai's 2 p.m. scrapbooking talk. Both events are in the Modern Living Building ... where it'll be dry.
  • And more livestock judging -- mostly indoors -- continues all day in the Durand Arena.
