Group texts can be the worst, but Fifth Harmony just made them a little bit better by putting a little melody (and harmony) into the exchange.

The pop stars dropped by Jimmy Kimmel Live to sing the messages in an actual group text about getting dinner. After flawlessly delivering the monotonous back and forth about times and free days, the performance ends with...no plans at all.

"Being in a group text is closer to being held hostage without being in an actual hostage situation," Kimmel explained. "Even if you try to get out, everyone sees it, and you look like a jerk."

Following the funny skit, Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, Camila Cabello, and Lauren Jauregui did what they were meant to really do at the late night show that night -- sing.

Starting out their performance of "Work From Home" backstage, the ladies were gathered around a bulldozer. Dressed construction-style (just like the video, as if high-heeled construction boots and short shorts were allowed on-site!), they eventually made their way on the stage to give a high energy performance that also included some sexy choreography Ty Dolla $ign appeared on the large screen to supply his verse.

Before Fifth Harmony visited to Jimmy Kimmel Live, they surprised Harmonizers with a new track and summer banger in waiting, "The Life," the latest offering from their upcoming album, 7/27.
