Five people were injured in the early morning hours of Sunday, Jan. 11, as gunfire erupted at a San Jose, Calif., nightclub party hosted by Chris Brown.

The San Jose Mercury News reports that local police rushed to the shooting, which took place at the Fiesta nightclub at 1:20 a.m. When officers arrived, four people were wounded. A fifth victim came forward shortly afterward.

None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.

Brown, who was advertised as being a host for the VIP birthday event, was not injured during the shooting. He reportedly tweeted "I'm 100" afterwards as a sign to fans that he was unharmed.

Photos and videos posted on social media show Brown performing on stage before gunfire shots are heard in the background. His security team then swarms the 'Fine China' singer before taking him away to a safer location:

It is still unknown who was responsible for the shooting.
