We have your chance to win $1,000 twice a weekday throughout November, and I was thinking how fun it would be to just spend it all in one place at a restaurant. Y'know, get some friends together and have some fun and don't worry about the bill. Here are five places in Yakima I'd like to go to spend $1,000 all at once.

  • Tony's Steakhouse

I've only been to Tony's Steakhouse twice and, to be honest, it was because someone else was buying. The food was some of the best I've ever had in Yakima, but it's out of my 'out to eat' price range. Imagine making reservations for you and your friends and sharing that experience. This place is high on my list of places I'd go to spend $1,000.

  • Ozeki's Restaurant

I'm a huge fan of Ozeki's Restaurant. I try to stop by at least once a month and get some sushi to go. I'd love to see the look on her face when I say, "I'd love $1,000 worth of sushi, please." At that price point I would just order a few of those party trays and we'd be good to go!

  • Bert's Pub

Bert's Pub is one of my favorite places in town. I love the food, I love the drinks and I love the staff. Something about all the pretzel bites I can eat with that cheese sauce that's the best cheese sauce I've ever had -- I'm pretty sure I'd be happy with that. One thousand dollars would go a long way at Bert's Pub. Just keep it coming!

  • Pho King Crab

I'm a huge fan of pho. If you're not familiar with it, it's a Vietnamese noodle soup that has such a unique flavor you have to try it to know how good it is. I'd use that $1,000 and introduce as many people to pho as I could. We have a few places in Yakima that serve pho. Koi Bistro and Famous Burger and Teriyaki are great, too, but I'd probably go to Pho King Crab, if nothing more than the name cracks me up.

  • McDonalds

"Let's see, if a 20-piece order of Chicken McNuggets is about $5, I'll have 4,000 Chicken McNuggets, please!"
