I love living in Yakima as it has plenty of options for just about anything you could possibly want from burgers to pizza to sushi and more. There are already some restaurants being announced as to coming to Yakima and I'd love to throw these out there as well. Here are five restaurants I would love to see in Yakima.

White Castle
White Castle may be one of those places I want to see just because I want to see what all the fuss is. I hear of people going here and filling up on their mini burgers. To be honest, they don't look all that great but I would love to see them just so we can be such a landmark for White Castle in the Pacific Northwest. As it is, right now, the closest location we have is Las Vegas.

Old Chicago Pizza
We had one of these when I lived in Casper and I think they'd do very well here. Although we have plenty of pizza options and plenty of places to get a drink, one of Old Chicago's gimmicks is they brew their own beer. They also feature 101 beers (tap and bottled) and if you try each one you get placed on the wall of fame. You can only try five beers per visit, though. I asked. The food was totally decent and think they would do well in our area.

Kizuki Ramen
Actually, scratch that. ANY legit ramen shop will do. Although Kizuki Ramen in Bellevue is fantastic, I'd settle for any place that does ramen the right way. I'm a little surprised we don't, yet. We have several pho options as well as udon options, but no ramen. It's a shame.

Fazoli's
This was a restaurant we had in when I lived in Idaho Falls and is something Yakima doesn't have. If you can picture it, it's basically a fast-food italian restaurant. They have spaghetti, lasagna, all the breadsticks you want and more, but you order at the counter and, within moments, you have your food at your table. We have some great Italian food establishments in our area, but Yakima would love seeing a fast-food Italian option. Sometimes you just need spaghetti to go.

Church's Chicken
I'm putting this on the list knowing full well that Yakima is finally getting a Popeye's Chicken, which I would prefer. I'm adding this to there's a little more fried chicken competition in town. They're also very, very good.

And that's my list. What would you like to see in Yakima in 2017? Tell us in the comments below.
