BIGBANG breakout star G-Dragon's eponymous new solo EP, Kwon Ji Yong, isn't just making headlines for its hard-hitting bangers and intimate ballads, including "Untitled, 2014": it's also making waves for its unique USB packaging.

As opposed to a traditional CD, Kwon Ji Yong is available via USB. And while the idea could be considered innovative, some are less enthused by the idea — namely, the Gaon Charts.

While the Korean Music Content Association and chart site Hanteo announced that they will accept USB releases as an album sale, Korea's Gaon Charts will not accept the USB as a traditional album sale because the unit solely contains download links to the music, not the actual songs according to a report (via SBS).

As AllKPop points out, the decision may affect G-Dragon's performance on Korean music shows like SBS's Inkigayo and MBC's Show! Music Core, which partially base their rankings on Gaon sales numbers.

Whatever. At least Jaden Smith likes it.
