Get Out the Vote! Today Is Election Day!

Thousands of registered voters across the U.S. are turning in their voting ballots today. This is your friendly reminder to turn in your ballot by 8 tonight, or have your envelope postmarked for today. The Yakima Herald Republic reminds us that "counties will certify results by Nov. 24. And Secretary of State Kim Wyman and Gov. Jay Inslee will certify the election on Dec. 2."

Drop off your ballots in any mailbox or in person at these locations:

• Yakima County Courthouse: E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Yakima.
• Yakima County Courthouse Security Station: 128 N Second St., Yakima.
• Yakima County Auditor's Office: Room 117, 128 N Second St., Yakima.
• Toppenish High School: 141 Ward Road, Toppenish.
• Sunnyside Work Source: 1925 Morgan Road, Sunnyside.
