Geoduck Named Washington’s Grossest Food

I've certainly seen this in tanks and aquariums, but didn't know you could, or would, actually eat them. As it turns out, geoduck was named Washington's grossest food. Have you tried it?

Geoduck (pronounced 'gooey duck') is neither gooey nor a duck. It's basically a big ol' clam and, from what I understand, tastes like one, too. Thrillist listed the grossest food in all 50 states and Washington state is all about geoduck, as it seems.

As odd as it looks, it's just something I don't think I'd go out of my way to try, but now I kind of want to.
