Geri Horner is pregnant with her first child with husband Christian Horner, according to the Mirror.

The former Spice Girl made the announcement on Instagram today (October 10), uploading a drawing of a pregnant woman along with hand-written note that borrows a lyric from her solo single "It's Raining Men," that reads, "God bless mother nature," and the hashtag #mamaspice.

Geri’s team released a statement confirming the pregnancy to the Mirror which reads, "Spice Girl Geri Horner (née Halliwell), 44, and husband Christian Horner OBE, 42, are absolutely delighted to announce they are expecting their first child together. The couple is overjoyed with the good news and cannot wait to welcome the newest addition to their family."

The Horners' new baby will join Bluebell Madonna, Geri's 10-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, and Olivia, Christian's three-year-old daughter with ex Beverley Allen.

Geri and Christian began dating in March 2014 and announced their engagement eight months later via a newspaper ad in The Times. “The engagement is announced between Christian, son of Mr and Mrs G.M. Horner and Geraldine, daughter of the late Mr L.F. Halliwell and Mrs A. Parkinson," the bulletin declared.

Will Geri's pregnancy interfere with her new musical project GEM? Next steps for the group — which consists of three former Spice Girls, Geri, Emma Bunton and Mel B. — remain unclear, but fellow former bandmate Victoria Beckham is as hopeful as the rest of us that they won't sully the good Spice Girl name with whatever they're planning.

"I do think they should sing their own material though," she told the Mirror, "because what we did in the Spice Girls was so special. If they sang Spice Girls songs I think I might be a bit sad."
