‘Give Back, Give Warmth’ Blanket Drive December 12

We have a lot of charity drives during the holidays. We have cash drives and toy drives and food drives but what about a blanket drive? Thanks to the fine folks of Southwest Rotary there's a fun blanket drive where you can cut and tie fleece blankets to be donated to those in need.

It's a fun way to give back to the community and the entire family is invited to join in the fun.

If you'd like to get involved, swing by anytime from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at YV Tech on December 12.

What started off as 13 blankets, cut and tied around a dining room table, has grown to nearly 500 blankets made and donated over the past 5 years to those in need in the Yakima Valley.

This year their goal is over 175 blankets. You can help make that happen.
