Several cast members from ‘Glee‘ taped an episode of ‘Inside the Actors Studio’ last night for a show to air in January. Lea Michelle, Cory Monteith, Chris Colfer, Jane Lynch, Matthew Morrison and creator Ryan Murphy joined host James Lipton for the long-running show in which actors discuss the secrets of their craft.

Oh No They Didn’t reported bits of some of the conversations. Colfer shared how he originally auditioned for the role of Artie but ended up having the role of Kurt written specifically for him. Murphy talked about how the cast members are irreplaceable and promised that even when some of the characters graduate, they can still be a part of the show. Lynch recalled how her role as Sue was supposed to be a one-time guest appearance, before Murphy convinced her to stay on full-time.

A few audio clips from the filming have been posted elsewhere online, revealing additional portions of the discussion. When each panelist was asked to identify his or her favorite word, the responses included “conundrum,” “chimichanga” and “yes.” When asked what he hopes to hear God say to him at the pearly gates, Colfer replied, “Don’t listen to them. You get to come in too.” As for what job he would like to have for a day, Morrison answered “gynecologist,” causing Lynch to retort, “I was going to say that!”

‘Glee’ is now the middle of its third season on FOX. The ‘Glee’ episode of ‘Inside the Actors Studio’ is planned to air on Bravo in January.
