Hey, Jimmy Kimmel: I Told My Kids I Ate All Their Halloween Candy!

This is the fourth year in a row that TV host Jimmy Kimmel has had a fun way for parents to pull the ultimate Halloween prank on their kids: He invites viewers to send in a video showing themselves telling their kids that Mom or Dad ate all their Halloween candy!

I decided to join in on the fun this year.

On Halloween morning, I went with my 3-year old daughter, Willow, and her preschool classmates to go trick-or-treating at Yakima Valley Community College. Afterward, I drove her over the mountains to spend Halloween weekend with her father. When I picked her up yesterday, I recorded the following video to send to Jimmy Kimmel:
