How Soap, Water and Elbow Grease Help the Local JROTC

The Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) does many fundraisers throughout the year to help fund uniforms as well as expenses to attend drill meets. They have a couple of fundraisers in August that you can take advantage of to help out our heroes of tomorrow.

The JROTC is holding a car wash at the KIMA building in Terrace Heights on Aug. 13 from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

They'll have another car wash coming up Aug. 27 from 9-2:30 p.m.

They compete against 16 schools every month for weekend. They even took first in the Gauntlet during the JROTC Raider National Championships in Molena, Ga., last year. Your help is appreciated.
