I had an extra sheet of puff pastry and some extra fruit so I decided to try to make my own Pop Tarts. I'm glad I did! They were so easy to make, very fun and super tasty! Here's all I did.

I let the puff pastry thaw out as recommended. Since they're folded twice, I seperated them into three sections by tearing where the folds are.

I had some extra strawberries and blueberries so I mushed them up the best I could. I could've blended them or something, but I wanted to have some chunks of fruit in there as well. I made one blueberry, one strawberry and one mixed. Just about two spoonful near the base of each puff pastry strip giving room to fold over and seal around the edges. I popped these in oven for the recommended 15 minutes.

I gave each a small egg bath (crack and egg, mixed it up and paint the top of each one to give them a golden crust) and let cool just long enough to handle. They turned out great! The mixed berry one was my favorite, but they were all good.

If I had powdered sugar, I would've sprinkled these with that or made a basic icing to drizzle on top, but they were great by themselves.

And there you go! I love puff pastry sheets, though I don't use them too often. I'm always looking for new ways to use them. If you have any ideas, let me know in the comments!
