So many people have come together to help those in need on the east coast, and now, in a last-minute gathering of performers, NBC will air a live telethon on Friday, November 2nd at 8pm Eastern live from Rockefeller Plaza studios in New York.  Some of those in attendance are Christina Aguilera, Sting, Jon Bon Jovi, and Jimmy Fallon.  The hour-long event, hosted by Matt Lauer of the 'Today Show', will collect money, which in turn will be donated to the American Red Cross.

Here on the west coast, we unfortunately will not see a live airing and at 8pm Pacific time it will be a tape delay, but there will be live stream from www.nbc.com at 8pm Eastern.  Others channels also being allowed to air the telethon are:  NBC, Bravo, CNBC, E!, G4, MSNBC, Style, Syfy and USA.

It is so awesome to see when people come together to help those in need, and right now the east coast is definitely in need.
