Iggy Azalea is looking to get her stock back up in 2016 as she has a new album on deck, and now a new gig on one of the biggest shows in her native, Australia. The "Fancy" rapper recently confirmed she has signed on to replace Dannii Minogue as a judge on The X Factor Australia.

The rap star admits she was on the fence about joining the show at first. “I really didn’t picture myself being a judge on any kind of television show but I think that actually this could be a good fit for me, so I said yes,” she recently said on Good Morning America. “Initially I didn’t know but then I thought it would be good to come back to Australia and have an opportunity to spend some time there and obviously to see my family, who live in Sydney. So I think it will be a good situation for multiple reasons. I’m really excited and I don’t really know what to expect,” she added.

The Aussie talent show is stepping into its eighth season. Iggy will join Guy Sebastian, James Blunt and Chris Isaak as judges.

On the music side, she is due to drop her second solo album Digital Distortion soon. Though it doesn't have a set release date, the LP is expected to drop in June or July. The project is spearheaded by the first single "Team."
