One of my favorite attractions at the Central Washington State Fair was this huge candy exhibit that we had several years ago. I'm so excited that it's coming back! "It's a Candy Nation" will celebrate the sweet life this year in Pioneer Hall.

Not only is it just a bunch of candy, which is great in and of itself, but it's also some candy history showcasing the type of candy they had several years ago all the way to what advances they're making on store shelves today.

They also highlight several of the most popular brands like having a huge PEZ dispenser collection, Jelly Belly, See's Candy (a personal favorite of mine), Wrigley's and so much more.

There are some interactive exhibits, too, including portraits made by using different colors of Jelly Bellies, a vintage store display, movie props from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and even the classic 'I Love Lucy' conveyor belt with a Lucille Ball impersonator to re-enact the famous oldtime television episode.

Of course, there'll be lots of candy to purchase as well, including several vintage candies that your parents grew up with. I had a blast last time it was here and I'm looking forward to it again.

You can find 'It's a Candy Nation' in Pioneer Hall all fair season long.
