July 4th Fireworks Shows in and Near Yakima

The 4th of July is coming up and there's always a love of excitement in the Yakima valley for it for several reasons. Here are the best things to do in Yakima on the 4th of July.

4th of July Celebration
First and foremost is attend the 4th of July celebration at State Fair park. Being it's illegal to launch fireworks in Yakima, the city has allowed fireworks for this event. There's also live music, this year featuring Mark Wills, fun food, games and activities for the kids and so much more. Best of all, it's free to attend!

Legends Casino Firework Show
Yakama Nation Legends Casino in Toppenish has an annual fireworks show that's free to check out. The show in the sky starts at dusk.

Prosser's Old Fashioned 4th of July
The firework show in Prosser is great as well. The fireworks launch at dusk (usually around 10pm) but there's a kiddie parade, great food, car show and so much more! It's worth checking out if you're in that area.

Zillah's Old Fashioned 4th of July
If you're in Zillah, the place to be is Stewart Park. What's great about the show in Zillah is it features both professional fireworks and local fireworks.
