Justin Bieber's year has been winding down quietly, but it looks like his legal woes are about to heat up. The singer is reportedly being sued over his 2013 nightclub brawl.

As we previously reported, Justin's crew was involved in a scuffle at the South Pointe club in Southampton, N.Y. At the time, it was rumored that Justin's people went after the alleged victim, who was knocked out on the concrete.

The man, Wayne Rennalls, later accused JB of being jealous of him and is now suing the singer. TMZ reports that the fight left Rennalls covered in cuts and bruises -- and he wants Justin to make the situation "right financially." To be clear, Justin didn't hurt Rennalls, but the men who reportedly did -- JB's security team -- are on his payroll.

According to TMZ, Rennalls wants compensation for his pain and stress, and is asking for money from both Justin and the nightclub.

Back in 2013, Rennalls opened up about the brawl to the New York Daily News, telling the paper, “Justin Bieber [was] still running his mouth and I took my shirt off to fight. That’s when they all hopped out of the truck and bum-rushed me. They said, ‘That’s your f---ing a--,’ and the first one came to me, and I put my hands up to fight, to protect myself.”

Yiiikes. We hope they resolve this situation quickly and peacefully.
