Justin Bieber Tells Selfie Grabbing Aussie Fan, ‘You Make Me Sick’

Justin Bieber has, once again, been captured on camera willfully resisting an encounter with an enthusiastic Belieber — though, to be fair, you certainly can’t say the “Love Yourself” singer hasn’t made his feelings on snapping selfies with fans clear before.

In a video posted by TMZ, a bespectacled Justin was walking in Melbourne, Australia, where he’s currently on the latest leg of his seemingly unending Purpose World Tour. He was (as always in every waking second of his life) swarmed by fans as he ate a street snack while making his way back to his limo — which is when some young women attempted to take selfies with Justin in the shot.

“Look at your respect level,” Justin mutters to the fans, who take the photos without asking him first.

“C’mon,” one says in response.

“Look at you,” Justin continues. “You make me sick.”

Bieber attempted to establish some boundaries with the public and their ever-present picture requests and demands back in May 2016, when he wrote on Instagram, “If you happen to see me out somewhere, know that I’m not gonna take a picture I’m done taking pictures. It has gotten to the point that people won’t even say hi to me or recognize me as a human.”

Justin continued, “I feel like a zoo animal, and I wanna be able to keep my sanity. I realize people will want be disappointed but I don’t owe anybody a picture.” He’d put the kibbosh on VIP meet and greets two months prior to that announcement following a security scare.

The singer and his bodyguards have also scrapped with those allegedly overstepping in the past: In the past year alone, Justin popped a fan who grabbed him through a car window in Barcelona, and tussled with another man in Cleveland in an alleged autograph request gone wrong.

That isn’t to say that Justin will NEVER take a photo with a respectful fan, in a planned setting. Context and timing are everything.
