Kim Kardashian made a name for herself (and, subsequently, for her sisters, mom and Kris Humphries) with an erotic video. Now her boo, Kanye West, is joining in on the trend — but in a much different, much less viral (ahem) way.

West starred in a video with and for his pal, model Anja Rubik (whose name he drops in ‘Way Too Cold’), to launch her 25 magazine. The video isn’t necessarily pornographic, and you won’t see West in the compromising positions that made his current girlfriend famous. Instead, West narrates the kaleidoscopic clip, muttering gems like “Through me, the everlasting pain/ Abandon all hope.” Sounds like the sort of erotica self-proclaimed ‘S+M’ enthusiast Rihanna would be into.

Rubik explains to New York magazine, “It’s funny. We talked about porn looks these days, and he agreed with me that there’s no porn out there that is beautiful aesthetically and integrates fashion to make a beautiful image. I thought it would be really interesting to make it seem like we were entering Kanye’s head. It’s not pornographic, but it’s very sensual.”

The model marveled at West’s work ethic. “He’s like a machine, not only with music but also with fashion and videos,” Rubik said. “He’s a workaholic, and always talking about all these crazy thoughts and images running through his head.”

You can watch the clip below at your own discretion — while there’s not necessarily raunch involved, there is a bit of nudity and other weird stuff going on!
