Kelly Clarkson and Jimmy Fallon are pretty much the best karaoke duo ever.

The powerhouse vocalist -- whose brand-new album, Piece by Piece, just dropped today (March 3) -- partnered up with the Tonight Show host for a "History of Duets" segment, during which the duo belted out everything from Sonny & Cher's "I Got You Babe" to Pink and Nate Ruess' "Just Give Me a Reason."

Of course, it comes as no surprise that the two are pretty much the perfect pair, with Kelly sounding as unbelievably talented as always and Jimmy never failing to crack us up. (Case in point: He even had the "Heartbreak Song" singer losing it a few times.) While they both looked picture-perfect (tell us you're not just as obsessed with Kelly's blond waves as we are), it was their epic chemistry that was the takeaway moment for us. Seriously -- we were having epic flashbacks to Katherine Heigl and James Marsden belting out "Benny and the Jets" in 27 Dresses.

And did we mention the dance moves? Because need to mention the dance moves. Kelly straight-up did the robot at one point and also twirled her skirt like the princess of pop that she is. And while she strutted her stuff in a pretty awesome fashion, no amount of shimmying could take away from our main focus, which was the fact that homegirl can belt out a tune like no other. Also, we're freaking obsessed with how she harmonized with Jimmy Fallon. Obsessed.
